Founder's Message
When I was in elementary school, we shared a “Thought of the Day” every morning at school assembly. It was not just inside the classroom, but it was an opportunity to speak in front of the entire school community. To younger students and kinder-gardeners, like me at that time, it seemed like a daunting experience at first. But, this experience helped me grow into who I am today.
Speaking in front of others taught me confidence and courage, and the ability to articulate what I wanted to say with pride.

Later, when I started speech and debate in middle school, I realized how important those early experiences were - they gave me a strong foundation to build off new skills.

I founded the Thought of the Day Project to bring this simple opportunity to more students who need this experience to get them started. Everyone deserves a chance to gain that confidence to share their voices, and we hope to bring this feeling to as many students as possible.

Even a short message can build confidence that lasts a lifetime.
